Turva Arvi's services and applications help develop an open, trusting workplace safety culture. The Turva Arvi service comprises the Riski Arvi and Turvallisuusilmoitus applications, which you can order using the links on this page. Training and consulting complement the service, alongside the separate, free Arki Arvi application.

Riski Arvi for risk assessment
In Finland, employers have a statutory duty to assess risks to protect employees from workplace hazards. Risk assessment is an ongoing activity based on identifying hazards at work. Riski Arvi is a browser-based application that enables companies to assess occupational health and safety risks themselves. It supports workplace risk assessments and produces summary reports of the results and proposed actions.
Use Riski Arvi to identify hazards and hazardous situations, assess their risk levels and record measures to manage those risks. Hazard identification is based on the application's ready-made hazard checklists.
Riski Arvi provides:
- An overall picture of occupational safety at the workplace.
- Information for preparing and updating the occupational safety action programme.
- Information to help target on-the-job instruction.

Everyday safety observations
Turvallisuusilmoitus encourages positive safety behaviour and care for colleagues, while collecting information for risk assessment and continuous improvement. This browser-based application records and processes workplace safety observations. A report can describe a hazardous situation, suggest a safety improvement or share an example of good safety practice. Reports and ideas are submitted using an electronic reporting form, with the option to attach a photograph. Named responsible people handle the reports.
The Turvallisuusilmoitus application:

- Aims to prevent risk-taking behaviour, errors and misuse.
- Encourages positive safety behaviour and care for colleagues.

Free Arki Arvi
Arki Arvi guides systematic occupational health and safety risk assessment and helps establish a workplace risk baseline. Risk assessment means identifying hazards and harmful factors at work, determining the level of risk they create, evaluating their significance and, where necessary, deciding on measures to remove or manage them. The information collected in a baseline assessment provides an overall picture of workplace safety and a starting point for planned risk assessment and goal-oriented occupational safety work.
Arki Arvi is suited to:

Training and consulting
The training and consulting included in the Turva Arvi service guide people in using the tools and help customers develop their occupational safety practices and culture. When needed, our specialists provide more in-depth consulting, examine an organisation's particular problems and needs, and help resolve them and improve its practices.
Turva Arvi training and consulting are delivered online, mainly through the customer's own online collaboration tools. You can choose a ready-made training package or combine modules to create suitable training. Customer-specific occupational safety consulting can also be arranged. When ordering, select the training packages or modules that interest you on the order form.
